The Ship Inn sits at the end of an open-ended square of cream-washed fisherman's cottages set around a green, looking out to sea across the beach of Newton Haven.
The Ship Inn is a popular and friendly pub serving excellent bar meals.
Lunch is available daily and there is an good selection of beers and excellent Guinness. There is a micro brewery at the Ship and they produce Ship Hop and Sancastles at Dawn, both which have proved to be very popular.
Dinner is served on four nights each week. The last time I ate there the waiter was walking up the beach with his trousers rolled up holding my meal... a lobster. You cannot get fresher than that!
The pub is about 150 yards from the cottages down a dead-end lane leading to Newton Square. How idylic to wander down, buy a pint and sit outside looking over a stunning beach ... all within 150 yards of your doorstep!
