Having stayed in quite a few cottages over the last five years we can say Haven Cottage was fabulous and by far the best because of the cottage itself and its stunning location. Going in February suited us perfectly, it was very quiet and the inviting beach and footpaths on the door step made it a dream week away. Easy access to the surrounding towns gave the opportunity to learn a little about the history of Northumberland and take some stunning photos. Haven Cottage was cosy and warm and equipped to a very high standard with everything you could possibly need or want!. There's nothing better than enjoying a nice glass of wine in front of the log fire and looking out onto a moonlit sea . It was heaven! We hope to be back in later this year! Congratulations Stephen on such a wonderful place. |

We stayed here in September, what a fantastic week we had. Mixed weather, but nothing kept our son from the beach. Cullernose was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. Plenty of room for a small family. The views from the windows were super - sunrises out of this world early morning. We'vve stayed in this hamlet many times in various cottages - this has to be the most comfortable. Ship Inn well worth a visit, very hospitable. Great beer! Will return to our slice of heaven x |

We stayed in Cullernose Cottage and I just wanted to say what a great time we had. We were blessed with the weather so spent a lot of time building sand castles! The Ship Inn is great and really handy but we did venture to Cragside, and Wallington as we are National Trust members and they were great for different reasons. I loved Cragside and the play area in the woods was a great success. Cannot wait to return. Thanks Stephen for a great holiday. |
