We stayed here in September, what a fantastic week we had. Mixed weather, but nothing kept our son from the beach. Cullernose was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. Plenty of room for a small family. The views from the windows were super - sunrises out of this world early morning. We'vve stayed in this hamlet many times in various cottages - this has to be the most comfortable. Ship Inn well worth a visit, very hospitable. Great beer! Will return to our slice of heaven x |

We stayed in Cullernose Cottage and I just wanted to say what a great time we had. We were blessed with the weather so spent a lot of time building sand castles! The Ship Inn is great and really handy but we did venture to Cragside, and Wallington as we are National Trust members and they were great for different reasons. I loved Cragside and the play area in the woods was a great success. Cannot wait to return. Thanks Stephen for a great holiday. |

Amazed at the standard of accomodation, beautiful site and the cleanliness of the cottage was unbelievable. It had everything a hotel would have, apart from room service. We were very impressed! We were looking for a place near the sea which is why we chose it. |

We have just returned from a brilliant holiday in the tiny haven of Newton. We were slightly concerned by the lack of outside photos but totally without justification. The cottage (Cullernose) was absolutely fantastic: warm, peaceful and superbly appointed. We were blessed with cold, still sunny weather and loved just walking out the door and on to the beach... and the Ship Inn is a real gem. Thank you, Stephen. We are already planning our return! |
